Eligibility
Team Member Eligibility
You are eligible to enroll in benefits if you are a regular, full-time team member working a minimum average of 20 hours per week.
If you are a new hire, you have 14 days from your date of hire to enroll in benefits. Benefits begin on the first of the calendar month following your date of hire.
Dependent Eligibility
| Legal spouse | If you elect to cover your spouse, you may be subject to a spousal surcharge. |
| Children up to age 26 | Children for whom you are legally responsible to provide health coverage. |
| Disabled children over age 26 | If unmarried, incapable of self-support, dependent on you for primary support and the disability occurred before the age of 26. |
Spousal Surcharge
If you elect to cover your spouse under a Pella medical plan and your spouse is eligible for coverage through their own employer, you must check “YES” during your benefits enrollment when asked and pay the Spousal Surcharge of $100/month. The surcharge does not apply if both you and your spouse work for Pella Corporation.
